Hanoi (VNA) – The total retail sales of consumer goods and services in the first two months of 2022 posted a year-on-year to augment by 1.7%, reaching VND 876 trillion (over $38.35 billion), according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).

Of which, retail sales goods increased by 3.1%, with significant growth seen in several groups, including cultural and educational items (12.7%), food and groceries (9.0%) and vehicles (4. 3%). At the same time, revenue from clothing and household appliances fell 8.1% and 9.1% respectively.
