Atlantic Sea Farms – Retail Sales and Partner Growth Representative –


Atlantic Sea Farms is a brand with a strong social and environmental mission and ambitious growth goals. The Retail Sales and Partner Growth Representative will be responsible for building sales and distribution for Atlantic Sea Farms retail product lines including new market growth, in-store sales support and supplier relationship management. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales and will work closely with the Sales Coordinator to set goals, targets and be responsible for the development and significant growth of our retail and distribution network. This position will require a lot of problem solving, data management, relationship building and a commitment to forging category growth for first-to-market products. Fresh Domestic Kelp is a relatively new product to the US retail market and we are looking for a talented, committed and energetic individual who is ready to enhance our consumer packaged product lines.

This is a full-time, in-person, year-round position based in Biddeford, ME.

The Retail Sales and Partner Growth Representative will be responsible for fully understanding and championing ASF’s social and environmental missions and products, and creating scalable awareness and proof of concept for retail sales. and expansion.

Essential tasks:

  • Identify key targets and execute new and ongoing sales campaigns based on ASF sales goals
  • Establish and manage distributor relationships, logistics and administrative requirements
  • Create, support and develop important strategic partnerships with key retailers
  • Manage and stay in regular and strategic contact with distribution partners, brokers, street reps and store team leaders
  • Execute product presentations, fully secure new product placements, close deals and execute onboarding
  • Extract, analyze and create reports on sales data and trends to better inform sales strategy
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Work with Sales Manager to inform inventory needs and projections
  • Work with the Quality Assurance Manager on food safety communication as needed
  • Support and collaborate with the overall sales team effort
  • Travel for meetings, trade shows, events, and key opportunities and obligations (at least 30% (or as needed) of planned time on the road)
  • Collaborate effectively with all teams in the vertically integrated company to ensure a high performing, high character workplace

  • Must possess a working knowledge of the natural food space, food trends, business opportunities. Retail experience is strongly desired.
  • Excellent IT and CMS/CRM skills

  • Proven problem-solving ability and self-starter mindset. Positive and dynamic attitude
  • Able to manage high level partnerships
  • Able to handle the administrative needs related to sales success well
  • Excited to travel and create in-person sales opportunities, spending over 30% of his time on the road


  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the health food industry.
  • This position would receive an annual base salary (based on 55-65k experience), have access to the company benefits program, paid time off and a bonus structure based on individual performance and crew.
